Hey guys!  Just in case you haven’t read my first post, I will tell you a little about myself.  I want to share my postpartum journey back to fitness by sharing both my nutrition and work out experiences as a mother of two.  My goal is to help inspire any other women (and men!) with little ones at home, a busy schedule, and limited sleep to not forget the Importance of taking care of their bodies.  Here is a little information about me:

I am a Montana girl- and have a winter soul.  I love the mountains, snow, cold, and wet.  Any dry, hot, desert-like place melts me into a pathetic mess like a popsicle left out on the sidewalk on a hot day.  I have a wonderful, teddy bear of a husband who is truly my inspiration, a two year old daughter, Stella, and a new baby on the way due just about anytime.  I also have a giant sissy dog, George- he weighs 100 pounds, and shares many adventures with our family.

I have a serious chocolate problem, I despise gum, wearing socks without shoes gives me the willies, and I love CrossFit.  I mean, really, really, love it.  It has changed my life for the better, and given it direction.  Don’t get me wrong, I am not that person posting every single WOD on Facebook.  I also don’t really do the high sock thing- those give me willies too.  I sincerely really do love CrossFit though.  It has made me a better, more disciplined person, and given me the secret key to changing other people’s lives.  I have taught just about every fitness class you can imagine, from jazz dance to Zumba, to Spin and Silver Sneakers- I have been there, and enjoyed all of it, but nothing inspires me more than CrossFit does.  I have found no community as supportive and wonderful as the CrossFit community and am so grateful it is a part of my life.  If CrossFit isn’t your thing, I totally get it, it is super hard.  I don’t want to shove it down your throat in any shape or form unless you want me to.  I just hope to inspire you to get back out there, run that 5K, try that tri, join intramural volleyball, go skiing, I don’t care, just get moving!
